Samuel Harris

Hi, my name is Samuel Harris. I graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic with a masters degree. My five years of education specialised in neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. I am passionate about patient-centred, evidence based Chiropractic care, placing emphasis on patients playing an active role throughout their treatment at the clinic.

Since completing my clinical internship in Bournemouth, I have moved back to my hometown of Plymouth. I have enjoyed seeing patients from a variety of backgrounds and professions, with a broad spectrum of injuries. I take pride and satisfaction in providing excellent care to each of my patients through education, advice and manual therapy. This empowers them to achieve their personal goals.

My name is John Springard. I graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, Bournemouth in 1983 (now called the Health Sciences University). I aim to help City Clinic Plymouth to provide the very best in safe, effective and affordable chiropractic treatment. It is tailored to each individual patient, in a friendly, relaxed but professional environment.

Physiotherapy

Carla Cassidy

Physiotherapist

Physiotherapist, personal trainer and massage therapist

Registered with the HCPC, number PH139932

Carla Cassidy

I’m Carla, a Physiotherapist, personal trainer and massage therapist with over 10 years’ experience. I help people become stronger, move better and trust their bodies again. I qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2023 after realising just how powerful movement is for both physical and mental health. I also saw how much people benefit when rehab, strength work and hands on treatment all come together.

I blend hands-on physiotherapy and massage to ease pain and improve mobility, and use personal training principles to build long term strength and confidence. Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing ongoing pain or simply want to move better, my approach is practical, supportive and tailored to you.

I am based at City Clinic Mondays 12:30 - 5:00pm and Thursdays 9:00 - 12:00pm.

Bowen Therapy

Anna Hugill

Bowen Therapist

BSc (Hons), MBTPA, CBHT

Anna Hugill

I'm Anna Hugill BSc (Hons), MBTPA, CBHT and my journey into healthcare combines science, people, and a genuine passion for helping others feel their best.

I hold a degree in Sports Science, giving me a strong understanding of human anatomy, movement, rehabilitation, and exercise prescription. Before retraining as a Bowen Therapist, I spent over 25 years in the corporate world. There I developed valuable transferable skills in communication, listening, problem-solving, and building trusted relationships. Those experiences now allow me to provide compassionate, person-centred care where every client feels heard, understood, and supported.

I am a fully qualified Bowen Healthcare Therapist. My special interest is supporting the nervous system, helping the body move from a constant state of stress into rest, recovery, and repair. My approach is gentle, holistic, and tailored to the individual, recognising that every person's health journey is unique.

Coming Soon...

MSTR® (McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release) is a gentle treatment designed to improve the appearance, mobility and function of post-operative and long-term scars. It helps restore movement and reduce restrictions.

You might be recovering from injury, managing a long-term condition, or simply looking to improve your wellbeing. My aim is to help you reboot your body, restore balance, and get back to doing the things you love.

From September, I will be practising from City Clinic Plymouth every Wednesday and Thursday.

BSc Podiatry, University of Plymouth (2008)

Registered with the HCPC, number CH31184

Clare Jones

My name is Clare Jones, I am the owner of Sound Steps Podiatry based out of City Clinic.

I am an HCPC Registered Podiatrist, qualifying from Plymouth University in 2008. I have worked in the NHS ever since, starting in East Kent and then I moved back to Plymouth in 2015. Whether you have problems with corns, callus, verruca, ingrowing toenails, thickened nails, fungal skin or nail infections, have Diabetes or you just want to give your feet a little TLC and get some guidance on self care then give me a call and see if I can help you!
